One Day Coaching Intensive
What is Creative Breakthrough Coaching?
Creative Breakthrough Coaching is a One Day Coaching Intensive. It is a powerful way to experience transformational coaching without the time commitment of a multi-session package.

- Get your creative mojo back
Spend a magical day with Emma, think your best creative thoughts and get closer to your creative goal. Over the course of one day I will help you tap into your innate creativity, help you to plan, work with your blocks and challenges and listen with unqualified attention to your best creative ideas.

Emma’s Creative Career
I understand from the core of my being the need to create.
My whole professional career has been in the arts. I was born into a family for whom the arts were a necessity, not a luxury. My father is a writer and my mother an actor, so there was a certain inevitability about my own creative journey. Here are some of the markers along the (certainly not linear!) way:
- As a professional actress I have had a long and varied career in theatre, TV and film.
- From 2010-2016 I ran my own small creative business, making an award-winning arts magazine, WOW Kent.
- Site-specific theatre company Dante or Die hired me to be Project Co-ordinator for their extraordinary piece set in a swiming pool, Take On Me
- I’m on the Board of Trustees for Animate Arts Company CIC, a not-for-profit which makes extraordinary participatory arts projects.
- You could say the arts are in my soul.
Nothing would make me happier than to coach you towards your own Creative Breakthrough. You don’t have to consider yourself a ‘creative person’ – just be open to your own thoughts.
FAQS
My fundamental approach to every client is that you are creative, resourceful and whole. You do not need ‘fixing’, and have all the answers you need already inside of you. My job as coach is to co-create with you a safe, non-judgemental and creative space with you where you can think your best thoughts.
Transformational coaching tends to go deeper than many other coaching approaches, which is why I believe it is so effective. Together, we work to uncover and remove the limiting beliefs and blocks holding you back so that you can move forwards into a more authentic way of being. Once you have begun this work, you may well find that it is much easier to set and achieve your goals, feel happier and back in alignment with your purpose once again.
Every client is unique, but here are some of the themes I have worked on with my clients:
An academic close to the height of her career wanted to explore her options in the academic world, and what steps she would need to take over the next five years to get there.
A creative solopreneur had created half of an online course and got stuck. Together we worked through the blocks and limiting beliefs holding her back, created a marketing plan and a dealine for the launch, which she met.
A university student in her final year identified procrastination as the key obstacle stopping her from achieving. She identified the triggers for her procrastination and created an anti-procrastination toolkit to help move forwards.
A high earning, successful software engineer came to coaching feeling frustrated, bored and stuck in his life. He knew that he needed to identify and tap into a more authentic way of being if he was going to be happy going forwards, but had no idea where to start.
Yes, often. I work particularly with tools which stimulate your creative thinking, such as metaphor; creative visualisation; core values and strengths; narrative and many more.
If we are working on making a plan, we might work together to make a timeline, or reverse creative plan a particular project. I always fit the tool to the client, not the other way round!
The price of my coaching program reflects the results that clients have achieved with me over the 12 week program. I offer all my clients the flexibility of a monthly payment plan to make the investment as affordable as possible and for every coaching hour my clients invest in, I arrange for One Tree Planted to plant a tree on their behalf.
The decision to accelerate your life via life coaching is an investment of time and heart, often more than a decision purely about money. Usually it is the absence of the first two which stops people making real changes in their life. Coaching is absolutely worth your investment when you invest all three in the process: time; a belief in your own personal development and money.
Yes! My signature coaching program is 12 Weeks to Change. Over the course of 3 months we work together towards personal and/or professional change.
For clients who have a longer term goal, I offer a six month package and a full year’s coaching. This doesn’t have to be weekly; currently I have a client with whom I work once a month, for instance. Please contact me to have a chat about what you need.
I am non-judgemental, intuitive, person-centred and warm. I also promise to challenge you to help move you forwards, if that is what is needed.
I engage in coaching supervision and self-reflect on all my coaching sessions. I’m always seeking to improve my coaching, to make the sessions as powerful as they can be for you.
Currently I offer coaching calls via Zoom. These can be with or without video, by agreeement. Audio only calls are also very powerful. From Autumn 2021 I will be offering in-person coaching for clients based in the South-East (Kent and London).
While being a one-to-one, client-led, holistic approach to personal change, coaching is not the same as therapy.
Therapy offers an opportunity to work through trauma and past or present pain. Similarly, counselling also creates a space for the client to express or work through whatever is troubling them.
Coaching on the other hand, is future-focused and solutions-driven. It refers to the past only to uncover and work with the limiting beliefs and blocks that might be holding you back from achieving what you want.
I will always discuss with clients if it becomes clear that what they need is more suited to a therapeutic healing space.
I am a certified Transformational Life Coach. I trained with Animas Centre for Coaching and my Diploma is accredited is by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
I am also a lifelong creative practitioner, being a professional actress; a former solopreneur business owner of an arts magazine and sometime arts administrator. I have a Post-graduate Diploma in Community Dance and a deep understanding of the imporatance of creative practice.
Like you, I am also a fully paid up member of the human race, with countless experiences of transformation involving personal and professional change. These include experiences of career change; motherhood; divorce; second marriage; family mental health issues; first-hand experience of living with autism; coping with dementia; running my own small business – and so on! Perhaps more than anything else my life experience and the person I have become is the most valuable thing I bring to the coaching space.
In the event that you need to cancel or re-arrange a session, I will do my best to agree another time with you. If you cancel within 24 hours, you may need to forfeit a session according to our Coaching Agreement.
